Introduction

Hello and welcome to my blog. In the course of this blog we will be exploring the great controversy over which satellite TV service is the best. Not so much the best in the business, but more importantly, the best service for you as an individual or family. DISH Network and DIRECTV both offer excellent services and are generally adequate for anyone's basic entertainment needs. However, as you will find by reading my posts, there are many subtle differences between the two that may make one service more appealing to you. I welcome comments, feedback, and questions so I can help to better educate everyone on the products and features that these companies offer.

Before I get started here, I will tell you a little bit about myself and my experiences in the satellite TV industry. I have worked in sales and installation for both DISH Network and DIRECTV during the last 10 years. I have watched the industry and technology change and grow into what it is today. I have also subscribed to both of these services and am currently a DISH Network customer. I have installed every type of DISH Network and DIRECTV system imaginable, and have also done sales work both in the field and in the office. I hope that reading this blog will help you decide which service will best meet the needs of you and your family.

I feel it is also relevant to note that I also have sales and installation experience with both mainstream satellite internet provides: HughesNet and WildBlue. I currently offer HughesNet service on my website: www.tvasap.com and am hoping to be able to add WildBlue to my site as well. To the right you will see direct links to these three services as well. Later in this blog I will be doing a comparison of those services as well. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy what I have to write.
